AbcThai: AbcThai for Windows is an alternative Thai text editor with translation help for those with basic knowledge of Thai writing. To type Thai you can use the standard keyboard in a unique way or one of the on-screen keyboards. The Thai keyboard (Ketmanee layout) is supported as well. You don't have to install Thai fonts if you use the built-in graphics. Line-by-line translation help for English-Thai/Thai-English and German-Thai/Thai-German. Basic dictionaries are included (ca. 5000 words each) You can extend them as you like or use your own dictitionaries. Since Thai is written without gaps, analysing of the lines (parsing) is necessary by using the dictionary. The search routines are written in machine language and therefore very fast. Compose your translation by dragging the words from the resulting wordlist (in a separate window) and dropping them to your edit window. Single words can be searched for with wildcards. In a separate lookup window you can search for words in the dictionary as you type.
