Coalesys Internet NewsWire PRO: The Coalesys Internet NewsWire is a programmable news distribution system built upon web technologies. It uses the hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) to deliver Windows XP-style popup messages to the system tray of your listeners. The product contains four main software components: The NewsWire Client, Server, Editor and Controls. The NewsWire Client is a redistributable system tray application that retrieves and displays the messages. The NewsWire Server is a standard web server that supplies the messages, and can be replaced with any web server. The NewsWire Editor is a Windows application that is used to visually design the messages. The NewsWire Controls allow the messages to be dynamically generated, and are available for COM, .NET and Java-based development environments.
