WordCaptureX: Text capture library which allows getting the words under the mouse cursor like Babylon does. Works in all browsers, Office windows, PDF documents and many others, including places where regular copy/paste doesn't work as as in folder trees, status bars, protected documents, buttons, applications interfaces, error messages and more..
WordCaptureX is not OCR based so it's very fast. Only 10 lines of code are needed to integrate it into your dictionay or translation tool. It can be used in VB, C, C++, .Net languages, Delphi or any other COM enabled progamming language.
The scenario: The user underlines or CTRL-clicks any word on screen and your dictionary pops-up with the definition or the translation of the captured word. WordcaptureX allows capturing an entire line of text. It also highlights the captured word(s).
We provide C++, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic .Net, C# and Borland Delphi 2006 samples into the demo version in order to demonstrate the text capture library features. Also there is a demo application into the downloadable kit which demonstrates all the features included into the library.
