FileMetadata .NET: Element-IT FileMetadata .NET control provides methods to add and modify metadata for any files and folders at NTFS file system. Control uses Alternate Data Streams technology to work with metadata. The data moves with the file and independent of the file name. Metadata don't uses any extra databases or file body- it stores with file at NTFS hidden stream. Control allows to modify standard metadata like Title, Subject, Category, Keywords, Comments, Author or unlimited count of custom metadata of any type: String, numeric, binary data. The original file date modified is not affected on metadata modifications.
