The text can be searched using Document Imaging and the Search engine that comes with Windows. This utility allows the user to specify folders where the images are and have them processed in a batch mode as opposed to opening each one in Document Imaging, OCRing the document and saving it.

Blank Page Remover automatically skips printing blank pages when copying. This allows a user to copy a mixture of simplex and duplex pages without stopping. Instead of copying the user scans the files to a folder that is monitored, when an image is found the blank pages are removed and the file is automatically sent to a printer.
